About Us
A few Greeks got together to discuss the possibility of having an all Greek Reunion during the Ohio State University Home Coming Weekend. The possibility turned into a reality and the first Greek reunion happened in October 2010 and was a huge success! This year’s reunion will be even bigger and better and we look forward to another rewarding experience.
Mission Statement
BGLAOSU is a non-profit organization founded in 2010, with a mission to unite, reconnect and reinforce relationships of generations of The Ohio State University’s (OSU) African American Greek Family. Through charitable, social and professional interactions, BGLAOSU will serve as a resource to OSU and the Undergraduate Greek Alliance while supporting opportunities to enhance the African American student experience. The primary event of BGLAOSU is a biennial reunion held on the campus of OSU during Homecoming weekend in October. The reunion is three days of OSU Black Greek alumni and friends meeting, reconnecting, socializing, and just having fun. The 2010 reunion event included a Meet & Greet Social, Homecoming game tailgate, undergraduate scholarship presentation, and a semi-formal dinner and dance program, culminating with a unity inspiration church service.
We look forward to reuniting and connecting with you at the 2013 OSU Black Greek Alumni Reunion, October 18 - 20, 2013 !
